I actually drew him without his horns on purpose,, and me w glasses and shorter hair too bc it’s early in the relationship (or pre-relationship idk idk) so hair has not grown and he still glamours his horns (I think he would have conflicting feelings on his bull parts and started hiding them after his father was trapped bc they were seem as a source of shame, esp from other demons bc of how his father was defeated. he keeps the long ears bc they’re from his mother and she’s now the sole source of pride for the family so he tries to emulate her more. also bc “demon” traits vs “celestial” traits have connotations that he didn’t know how to handle as a youth esp without a strong demon father to protect him from the prejudice. and then after his father returns there’s a whole new layer of complexity (“do I look like him/lyr” ahh) and feeling that disconnect from him and therefor his shared traits. I would help him learn to accept and love that side of himself and feel more proud sharing it 🙏🙏 trust) and also he teaches me how to glamour my glasses away so I can still see but I don’t need them (explains why I don’t have them all the time)
