The Indrahaar Pass Trek,McLeodganj. It was a beautiful morning and the sun was glowing bright over the high slopes of the Himalayas.The warmth of the tender sun rays was seducing the Dhauladhar range of mountains on that cold and windy morning.By that time I was hiking for two hours on that lonely trail on my way to the ~14000 ft Indrahaar Pass. As I gained the altitude with each step,my speed became slow.After two hours of hike I took rest to get hydrated and gulp some energy bars.It was a beautiful place.I sat on the edge of a rock watching the beautiful mountains basking in the spectacular beauty of the Himalayas.The polar white clouds were slowly engulfing the mountains with their mist.The cold wind was still freezing the air.The base camp was so so far away. Sometimes we need some time alone to find the lost freedom,to feel the pulse within,to talk to ourselves,to listen to our heart and to simply watch the time pass by.As i sat there watching the spectacular view,I enjoyed every moment of being in the lap of the Himalayas.
