Winter wonderland, Keylong. It is surely that God lives here. Keylong, also known as Kyelong or Kyelang, is the district headquarters of #Lahaul and #Spiti district of #Himachal Pradesh. This place is a fancy land of #monasteries and #Buddhism. #Keylong is at an altitude of 3440metres on the #Manali – Leh Highway. Currently the place is cut off from the rest of the Himachal as heavy #snowfalls in the famous Rohtang pass, cuts out all road #transport only connected via helicopter services. This town is an oasis as it rests between the white snow clad #mountains and the brown barren mountains. The road winds through serpentine bends on the gigantic mountains until Keylong is reached. The place has #rivers, mountains and a #beautiful landscape when compared to the drab #landscape outside this valley. Keylong is situated on the banks of the Bhaga River. Kullu/Patlikuhal News | One person died after being hit by a vehicle near Stingray tribal area of Lahaul-Spiti. This incident took place late night on 15th September. It is not yet known which car hit this person. The identity of the deceased is not clear. The police have taken the body into custody and kept it in the hospital.
According to the information, on September 15, between 6 to 7 pm, a pedestrian was hit by a car in Stingray area on Manali-Leh road. Due to which the person died on the spot. Keylong police was informed about this. The police took the body into custody. The deceased has not been identified.
