We lay comfortably in our beds, whilst the coldest time of the year approaches. We can eat what we want, when we want. How easily we forget the suffering of our brothers and sisters while we live in ease. I ask Allāh, they forgive us.
Its upon us to help those who have less than us. When you buy something for yourself, remember to give to our brothers and sisters who live with less, who struggle more than we ever have.
How can a believer feel no discomfort in spending on themselves or their loved ones, yet forget their brothers and sisters in need?
They may not be our brothers and sisters by blood, but they have a right over our rizq. Giving to them should be something our hearts desire, not something we neglect. Question the state of your imaan if you feel greedy or feel some type of way when it comes to spending on those who have less.
May Allāh purify my intentions. I share this only as a reminder for myself and for other believers, bi' ithnillah.
