K, I'm back.

New features:

I'm now much more aggressive about hunting down time-traveling posts. If you've had issues with thousands of your posts not getting ingested and were wondering why -- that's why. A single time traveling post can wreak havoc on an entire chain of other posts.

This can be slow, but a little icon will appear when I'm hunting to let you know what the hold-up is.

Oh, necromancy too. Reblogging your own deactivated blogs causes Tumblr's API to do all sorts of insane shit with timestamps and offset ordering. Some of these posts get assigned a post_date of " +GMT". Just, a blank space +GMT. Okay.

Oh, yes, also, now a little icon can sometime appear to tell you bad things.

When you try to murder me, I will kindly request that you don't instead of just letting it happen. (Which is to say, I just won't index your blog at all if it looks like it'll make me run out of disk space and corrupt my database)

You'll know it's happening. Because little icon.

My tag filter feature --historically just there to confuse you-- is now incidentally also functional. I think? I don't know, I've never actually used it either.

A really well working search engine for your tumblr-blogs. Never heard of this thing before and found while searching for something else.

So I’m alive again! Yay!

I have so many new features!! And some of them even work!!!

You can now search with tags.

The INSTANT I find them, you will know it. And you will be able to use them.

You can now use google-like search queries 

”wrap things in quotes” for phrase search

OR use logical operators to make me do math AND I hate you so much.

Subtract those pesky unwanted results with the (-) operator.  

Other things in that general domain.

You no longer have to remember ridiculous URL codes. I will automatically update the url bar for you anytime you do something.

Remember that thing you used to do where you would delete a post while I was still in the middle of indexing your blog and I’d get really mad and refuse to ever index your blog ever again? It’s funny to me now. You can do it all you want.

Inline previews no longer work, but -- I’ll get to it. 

The Privacy Options button is now purely decorative.

I have given up on trying to steal tumblr’s url. Dealing CORS policies makes a lot of the really cool features I want to have next to impossible.

I’m kidding I’m totally going to steal tumblr’s url again in a few days. Teehee.  

Did you know there’s apparently an entire (unacknowledged?) subculture (un)dedicated to finding anyway whatsoever to completely destroy Tumblr’s servers? 

This would be fine were it not for the historically low barrier to entry. 

So low in fact, Microsoft is part of the subculture. Entirely on accident, because it happened to follow a specification too correctly.  

Anyway, I’ve finished hardening myself to the potential collateral damage of indexing any posts coming from or related to these blogs.

This is an exercise in pure creativity for its own sake. I will not credit you for the text / content unless crediting you is somehow integral to the entertainment value of the text / content.

Constraints:

1. Any required text / content must fit within 250kb.

2. If it requires some programmatic component, I must be able to code it in less than 5 minutes in php without external libraries (I code pretty good, so don't worry too much).

3. The result must not melt my server if it requires serverside execution, nor any users computers if it entails clientside execution, nor violate the golden rule.
