     one of his talents was always picking up languages. they had him start from an early age; moving from russia to the usa to training with shield kept his mind sharp, and he had a hyper focus when it came to the different nuances of language. but sign language -- at least american sign language -- he had picked up a little later in life, and was somewhat rusty at it. still, he tries.Â
