Lol there were a few things from the last few days of the pride challenge I wanted to post.
Day 2 Something that makes you happy. This may sound weird, but tumblr actually. I’ve met some rly nice people here, especially in the lgbt+ community. And tbh idk that I would have figured out I was queer without some of you! Thank you!
Day 5 A moment you’re proud of. Lol a while back when I was still in high school I had the opportunity to take college classes too, and one was astronomy. I sketched the moon with the help of an old Orion telescope for extra credit, and when I got it back my professor had written “Galileo would be proud.” The best compliment I’ve ever received! Lol, score for this space ace!
Day 6 Tag your chosen family. Well only some of my close friends actually have a tumblr. But I adore my mutuals! You guys are all super wonderful!!! Pls have a happy and safe pride! 🥰
Day 7 Favorite lgbtqia+ book. I’m not sure actually, I haven’t had the opportunity to read a lot. But Rick Riordan is wonderfully inclusive and I want to read more of his books!
Calling on my fantasy and d&d friends. I need advice for an oc.
I have this character I’ve been working on who’s inspired by Tia Dalma (from pirates). She’s of the shifter/were-touched race and is probably a tempest domain cleric. (Maybe a level in Druid or sorcerer).
She lived her whole life in her seaside village working with the wise ones and then as one. In her (40s maybe) she was called by her god to take up a pilgrimage, and eventually came across an ancient monastery in need of aid. She willingly gave it and trained as a cleric with them. Now her god has told her to move on to stop a prophesied disaster, and she has begun the life of an adventurer in search of clues to the mystery.
She’s tricksy but kind and incredibly in touch with nature. She has high wisdom and dexterity, and is a practiced herbalist (alchemist???). She speaks common, primordial, and celestial.
My question is, I can’t think of an appropriate name for her. Any suggestions??
I’m putting up seasonal decorations at my new job. (Yes I finally have a job omygosh omygosh!!) And anyway, it’s got me skipping my seasonal aesthetic a bit. Like, srsly, I was humming ‘Noel’ in the isles! 😂
