One of the newest cards in my signed collection, Stubborn Denial is a weak Spell Pierce that turns into a 1 mana Negate. High quality threats like Death's Shadow and Gurmag Angler turn this on pretty regularly.
Dark Ritual is such a fun card. Getting access to BBB on turn one leads to such wonderful openers as Thoughtseize into Hymn, Thoughtseize, entomb, reanimate Griselbrand or just the old school choice of hypnotic specter. I've had signed copies of Ken Meyer Jr.'s version in my reanimator deck for 2 years now but I love all the arts and am looking to get at least one of each

Lava Spike is focused burn for #mtg #modern. Where is it headed? Always to the dome! Well, and sometimes planeswalkers as the UMA version has been updated with the new redirection rule. In #legacy, Chain Lightning gets the nod while this rides the bench unless you need max 🔥🔥🔥
