Born in Fontaine to the Reynards, a family of performers

Family was convicted for [major crime? Treason mb?] and sentenced to exile or death

Cress ran away alone, desperate to leave, incurred debt to the Fatui*

(*perhaps already had minor dealings w/them as an informant, but now has an Actively Massive Debt bc they saved his life)

Got their Vision once they were well and truly alone in the world, and mourned their family (cry(o)baby)

Now works as a bard and Adventurer w/the Adventurer's Guild, and handing in reports to the Fatui

Is unsure whether he likes working w/Fatui or not, aside from the debt due

Energetic, sporadic, negative WIS modifier in D&D terms. Lotsa fox motif.

Sigmarr (he/him)

From Snezhnaya, though has often been stationed in other parts of Teyvat as a part of the Fatui

Trained as and has some of the cybernetic enhancements of an Anemo boxer vanguard, but then gained his own Geo Vision

Stepped down from active combat, technically, but he's still a brick shithouse with a glowing eye

Sigmarr is Cress's handler and is a tad soft on them, but scarce to admit it

Weirdly casual and/or blunt about most things

Historian & art appraiser with one of the Guilds in Liyue

Fascinated by the adepti and legends of old maybe? Knows better than to prod too close though... usually.

Technically from a new money family and, while history has been a Big Interest of hers her whole life, her reputation itself is new

Seems put together, but actually a bit of a mess
