This truth will forever prevent me from judging anyone. Why? Because despite what individuals may perceive outwardly or even sense inwardly, cycles have more to with a lack of perception then lack of character. If a person is blatantly repeating cycles, they are consciously sleep or blind. We all were at some point in time. Let me be clear... Perfection is subjective... It's not an actual thing. It's an idea. It's is possible to carry they label of "perfection" while having blemishes, faults and lack of symmetry. When we see these cycles in ppl's lives (including our own) encourage them to engage the unknown. Personally speaking since 1997 to this very day, I've repeated a certain cycle 5 times on various levels. Many ppl told me it was a reflection of my unwillingness to obey God. They were wrong! I repeated that cycle because I was avoiding something in me that I was totally unaware of. Accepting the truth of others for my own has been my life long downfall... Never again. #SightBeyondSite

She enlightened us to this truth. King understood this as well. Here is a man that inspired generations to none violent activism. He influenced the moral compass of millions... Perhaps billions of ppl across nationalities, religions, gender and generational boundaries... Yet he was also fallible. He wasn't always respected in his own home. He sometimes gambled with the consequences of his actions. (We should know his full history by now. Read up if you don't. ) He hurt loved ones just like many of us have. He was a person. However, he still understood the layers. "There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us." He knew that we are capable of almost anything... Knowingly and unknowingly. Intentionally and unintentionally. Religious ppl would relate to it this way: "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." (😉) Now... Here it is... The known lesson here is the power of character we retain when we forgive. This is an act of strength. What is overlooked sometimes it the fact that we relinquish our power through our expectation to receive forgiveness. Learn to genuinely forgive yourself and everything else is icing on the cake. #RaiseYourUnderstanding #SightBeyondSite
