Sifteo snake game

Snake-like game, except you don't control the snake. If a cube has a neighboring cube on a side (or multiple), that side is "open." Otherwise the side is closed. If the snake hits a closed side, you lose. The (rudimentary) goal is to survive for the longest time. When a snake passes through the center of a cube, it has a low probability of turning up or down (not going straight across).

Extensions:

On the 2+ unused cubes, probability that modifier will appear in middle of screen. Red power speeds up the snake. (harder) Blue power slows him down. (easier)

Parapluie by One Life Remains

Parapluie is a fast and competitive multiplayer race game for Sifteo Cubes. Each player must lead a cyclist in a maze to find an umbrella, rearranging their cubes as quickly and accurately as they can to push their cyclist onwards. The first to return it to the exit wins the game. Parapluie challenges players dexterity, spacial reasoning, and orientation in fast-paced multiplayer competition.

Sifteo Cubes(Siftables)

Sifteo Cubes는 인터렉티브 게임 플랫폼으로 터치 스크린을 가진 1.5인치 크기의 블럭들을 흔들거나, 누르거나, 기울이거나, 돌리거나 또는 블럭들을 인접 시키는 것으로 사용자나 블럭들과 상호작용한다.

Sifteo Cubes은 다양한 게임을 지원하며 여러가지 게임을 다운로드 받아 즐길 수 있다. 대부분의 게임들은 7세 이상을 목표로 하고 있으며, 놀이를 하는 동안 사고, 공간추론, 전략, 협력, 도형인지 능력을 개발하는 것을 독려하기 위해 제작 되었다.

MIT 미디어랩의 Siftables으로 부터 시작 된 Sifteo Cubes는 2009년 프로토타입이 공개 되었다. 정식 제품은 2011년 CES에서 공개 되었으며 2012년 게임 기능이 향상 된 제품이 출시 되었다.

아이들에게 스마트폰을 쥐어주는 것 보다 레고 처럼 실제 사물을 만지며 놀 수 있는 Sifteo Cubes를 가지고 놀도록 해주는 것이 더 좋지 않을까?
