Slow down, and just relax. So when you noticed he started sniffling and coughing, you practically had to beg him to relax. He just laughed it off as allergies, claiming that it was the change in the weather that made him cough. You tried to warn him that if he didn’t slow down and take some time to himself, his body was going to turn against him and then he’d really be sick. Sure enough, a couple days after the coughing started, you came home to find Ashton lying in bed, curled up in a ball under the covers.

“I’m so cold babe,” he choked out between coughs. “Can you make me some soup?”

“Of course baby,” you giggle. “Anything else?”

“Could you get me some medicine too? And maybe some tea. And don’t forget the crackers. Oh and could you get some movies for me to watch? Maybe something to read. Oh and video games.” Ashton pouted over at you as you continued to laugh at your boyfriend, clearly not used to being stuck in bed.

“Yes I’ll make sure you have everything you need. And you really should get some rest.” You turn to leave the room, as Ashton calls your name again.

“One more thing,” Ashton pouts again. “Could you hurry back? I need to cuddle. That’ll definitely make me feel better!”
