To continue of about the sub ro/day feeding dri/ft…. Dunno if this’ll be too over the top… but maybe ro/day is whining… while being crushed by dri/tf’s thick thighs? O.0

i also imagine, in the dratchetrod sandwich, ratchet is pressing drift against rodimus who is pressed against a wall. so he's kind of being crushed under their combined weight. and its definitely doing it for him
care to share any thoughts on a chubby dr/ift? Like, what foods you think are his favs…. What chubs up the most on him…. Etc…
oooh, okay. i can see drift starting out as the robot version of one of those "i only eat kale salads" kinda people until he starts dating ratchet
i think ratchet has a more realistic view of health and nutrition and basically tells drift to his face that diet culture is bullshit, and the most important thing is to eat a variety (in this case, a variety of metals and energon grades) & that a skinny person who only eats 5 foods can be less healthy than a fat person who eats a lot of different things. which leads to drift trying a TON of new foods, or foods he hasnt eaten in a long time, with ratchet's encouragement.
well, i can imagine he reawakens his love for some of his old favorite foods. maybe some sort of energon-based soup or other comfort food that was a sort of special treat when he was deadlock. something he used to save up rations for, but now he doesnt have to. and like, ratchet can see when he realizes he can make as much of it as he wants, his optics light up.
so that becomes his favorite food, and him and ratchet both make it, and perfect the recipe. tho ratchet still makes sure he eats plenty of other things, or changes the ingredients often.
as for where he gains weight, i think drift gains in the tummy first, thighs second. his arms and faceplate get noticeably thicker too. ratchet loves to hold drift's face in his hands and squish his cheeks. its too damn cute.
also, ratchet probably resizes drift's armor himself, whenever it starts to pinch. so he's intimately familiar with the changes to his conjunx's body.
