Did you know that I may have a type? No, really, an asexual girl having a type. Crazy, isn’t it? Let me tell you my type...you. You are my type, from your appearance to your hobbies, all of it makes up... what i liked about you from the start.

But I don’t like you just for your hobbies and appearance. I like you for you, your flaws, your quirks, everything about you is so great. When I got closer and closer to you, all I wanted was to be able to observe you, but, well, I know that you don’t like being stared at, so I respected it. I still do.

I want to cuddle into your arms, and inhale the warmth coming from you and I. My heart seems to twist and turn whenever you’re around, and this is the solution. I swear, being in your presence makes my everyday life so much better. Our magic flies in the air like sparks in a fire, and I want to relish in its warmth. Does that make sense?

I wish for a life together with you, for forever.

Pix got down on one knee, and opened her arms. Hana paused behind her, blinking.

“Pix?” Hana said, holding her book a bit closer to her. “Why are you doing that?”

Pix’s mom opened the door. The woman was tall, had orange hair, and freckles almost everywhere on her body. She smiled at Pix, and stepped aside. Hana waved awkwardly to Pix’s mom, but then-

Two dogs barreled out from the hallway inside. Their fur was mostly black, with some white paws, faces, and underbellies. They were also very big dogs. Pix got tackled, and they started to lick her face.

“Panda, Orion, I missed you so much!” Pix cried, patting the dogs’s heads as much as she could. The two dogs were seemingly crawling all over her, and Hana yelped. She hadn’t seen such a big dog before! 

One of the dogs, the one with graying paws, stopped licking at Pix and looked over to Hana. Hana waved. She felt a bit out of place here. The dog slowly walked over to Hana, and rubbed against her side, sitting down and looking up at Hana, panting.

The other dog, with more bright white on his face and paws than the other one, noticed Hana, and adjusted his position around Pix. Pix started to pet his side, and looked over to Hana.

“These are my dogs! I didn’t speak of them before, haha...” Pix rubbed her neck with her free hand. Pix pointed over at the dog next to Hana, and said, “That’s Pandora! My family likes to call her Panda.”

Hana put her hand down on Pandora’s head, and the dog closed her eyes, still panting a little. The pink-haired girl smiled. Her family had something Hana didn’t, and that was cool.
