Shuraiya Bascùd from One Piece!!!

AUGH! This man was way too cool to just be from a One Piece movie and never show up again!! The way he fights, his voice, the way he cares so much about his sister! He's so fksbfjsnfjsnfjsnfnd!! The Movie isn't canon but I think it's fun to imagine my s/i having the biggest crush on this guy during it! They're all 😳 and the rest of the crew is ???

But yeah! The reason he isn't an f/o is because he isn't canon to the main plot and most importantly because just can't see my s/i with anyone else but S.anji. It sounds kinda silly but I just love the story and relationship they have with S.anji so much that i just can't see them with anyone else! And so Shuraiya will forever remain a crush and nothing more.

black - how do you and your f/o comfort each other during rough times?

Oh boy, there’s a lot. His first instinct is honestly to try to spoil her until she doesn’t think about it anymore, but that doesn’t always work. Sometimes he finds he has to show her some tenderness, as hard as it is - but strangely enough the break from his usual facade is what makes it work so well. You’d be surprised at how good he is at cuddling Akiko and listening to her. In return, he insists that even having her around helps - but also, her listening ear helps even more. 

dim gray - what do you two wear to formal events? what kinds of formal events do you go to together?

Honestly Jyuto already wears a suit most of the time, so dressing up is hardly a change. Maybe he changes his shoes, but even then, the ones he usually wears look like dress shoes. Akiko also usually wears suits, but she doesn’t really wear those to formal events, instead preferring to wear a gown - and let me tell you, Akiko is at her most powerful in an evening gown. I feel like most of their dressing up occasions would be dates, but also it doesn’t seem out there for them to end up at some kind of formal party or something like that.

indigo - who says ‘i love you’ first? how does it happen?

Believe it or not, it’s Jyuto. Admitting feelings was somewhat of a war of attrition, with neither of them wanting to open up like that, but he was unexpectedly emotional when they ended up going out together for the first time (in what you could call a moment of weakness) he ended up being uncharacteristically genuine and just telling her. Cue surprise and confusion from Akiko - and her reluctantly admitting she felt the same.

tea rose - when you and your f/o first get together, how do you act towards each other in terms of affection? is it awkward? does it come naturally?

Jyuto is naturally pretty physically affectionate, so it isn’t awkward for him. Akiko is somewhat of a different story, being naturally reserved and also having trauma. Jyuto’s influence does make it easier for her to warm up, so it’s never very awkward, just new for her.

coffee - do either of you have a garden or any house plants? if so, how good are you at taking care of them?

1. Favourite place in your country?

So I haven’t much chance to explore much of Canada, but in the little corner where I live, my favourite place(s) would probably be Inner Harbour in Victoria, BC, and White Rock, BC, specifically the Pier, and all the little niche touristy shops along the shoreline. Inner Harbour, especially during the summer, is usually packed with buskers and street artists, and less than a block away is the Empress Hotel, The Royal BC Museum, and The Under Sea Gardens. There used to be the Wax Museum, but that got stuck in renovation hell for years, and they had to close it down, unfortunately, but it was still really awesome!

4. Favourite dish specific for your country?

Eh. Poutine.

9. Which of your neighbouring countries would you like to visit most/know best?

Because Canada already borders the US, and I know enough about them, I’m going with Denmark, simply because of that one Island they and Canada fight over and take over from each other every year.

10. Most enjoyable swear word in your native language?

It’s not really a swear, it’s just a name to tease people with. But... y’know...

I don’t really know about anything recent, cause I don’t have cable, but from when I was younger, there was a whooooole bunch of amazing Canadian shows. We had Yvonne of the Yukon, Jimmy Too Too, ReBoot, Pippy Longstocking, Mr. Dress-Up, Storm Hawks, League of Super Evil, Da Vinci’s Inquest, Murdoch Mysteries. Just, so many good shows.

“My love language is quality time, and hers is acts of service.”

“As androids with wireless communication, one on one connections are designated by a model number and serial. However, we can assign names to them once connected, so hers is simply Hannah. I’ll have to assume it’s the same on her end.”

“Scratch that, I just asked her... Hers for me is of course, ‘Concon.’”

20. What’s the most romantic thing you can remember having done for them? What’s the most romantic thing they’ve done for you?

“I’d think saving each other from bigoted thugs is a pretty big gesture, even if we weren’t quite together in the romantic sense at that point in time.”

26. How do you tell your s/o you love them without using those three words? How do you show them?

“At times, we’ll interface using the palms of our hands, staying there for a while. It’s quite the intimate gesture for androids. It’s like you can feel everything your significant other feels without even saying a word. Heartbeats can even sync up when doing so.”

27. What are some pet names/nicknames you use for your s/o? Which one is their favorite? What names do they use for you, and which one is your favorite?

“I like using honorifics like ‘my love’, and ‘my dear.’ I like to use her full name when addressing her, however, not shortening it with any kind of nickname. However, she uses ‘Con’ and ‘Concon’ as nicknames for me, as well as pet names like ‘babe’ and ‘hun’, which I do like.

33. Do you prefer to go out for dates or to stay in? Do you both take turns planning dates, or is it a cooperative planning process for each date? Any thoughts on spontaneous dates?

🌸 What is your favorite Spring tradition to share with your FO?

I think we’d look to go to a spring festival or a spring event, maybe?

🍿 What festival foods are your favorite? Do you and your FO like the same things?

Our favourite festival foods would be anything sweet, I think. Especially like when you go to fairs and there’s people selling stuff that’s Man-VS-Food worthy in terms of size or calorie count. 

🧸 Is there a prize one of you begs the other to win for them? Who carries it around afterward?

Ryuu would probably see a big cuddly toy he’d want me to win for him and you’d bet I’d do everything in my power to win it for him. And he’d probably insist on carrying it home, moreso if it’s comically larger than he is.
