My date the the Barbie movie premiere tonight. Since I don't have a human date. My plastic husband Qui-Gon is looking so good in the pink trench coat o made for him and his own little Barbie!
He also has a pink bow to match!!!!
Well here he is! After having this blank Obi-Wan head for literally months I finally got around to painting him. I'm not 100% in love with him and can't really pinpoint what is bugging me but I can be fine with him.for now. I kept to face up pretty simple bc I find these super detailed sculpts hard to.add like a lot of detail to and I was trying to match my Qui-Gon doll who's original face isn't too complex.
I also indulged myself a bit and took a few shots of him and Qui-Gon together bc this was always my intention with these dolls I was just keeping them apart with my procrastinating. Obi-Wan also doesn't have any clothes right now so he's borrowing Qui-Gon's which are a bit too big. I'm hoping that once he has his own clothes the whole thing will come together and I'll like him more.

I finished my little baby Cal the other day and he looks so sweet! Not gonna lie guys I LOVE painting and putting hair on the barbie babies. Kinda thinking of making a few to try to sell? Any thoughts?
