YES. The minute he stops being predictable, JGY would have alarm bells going off--dunno how many loops in that would be but eventually he would just start...doing things. Because that’s what trapped people do. Depending on where the loop starts from, it might just be Xichen quietly doing as he’s told and not trying to reason with him at all that makes JGY stop and go, ‘...What’s going on.’ Guaranteed to have some very fascinating conversations--spicy, horrible, depressing, angry, painful conversations. Over and over again.

Oh, hmmm. I don’t read a lot of Sif fic. (I am very picky about my Sif characterization.) 

Glad you liked it.  (Seriously my self-esteem goes up by 50 points every time someone says something nice about my writing.)  And yeah, it doesn’t seem like my ideas about the character panned out.  If you check out my essay for chapters 78-79, you’ll note that I did indeed make a booboo the fool joke regarding this very topic.
