Telegraph line and relay tester ПУТ-1 from Soviet Union
Good day, my name is Paul Shtreder from Ukraine, I am fond of restoring retro electronics, studying and preserving its history. About a month ago, thanks to one good person, my collection was replenished with such a wonderful box)
The device is in excellent condition! :) But the accessory bag is empty (
At the moment, this is one of the few semiconductor measuring instruments I have. I was immediately surprised by its compact size. This may sound ridiculous by today's standards, but not to me. Because the rest of my devices are large, warm and tube-based :) And here we have a whole combined multifunctional tool in a small case.
And this was in the years when radio tubes were still in full use in Soviet electronics!
Прибор универсальный телеграфный первый ПУТ-1 (Universal telegraph device first model PUT-1) is a conventional multimeter combined with a relay tester and a pulse generator, that is, telegraph points in the Baudot format. This is all that we managed to find out ( I am now asking all old vorkers if anyone has diagrams and operating instructions, Google does not give out anything😓. Only a bulletin with a short description for your reference. Here it is, if I can post a translation
As soon as I buy suitable relays, I'll start testing :)
