#shrekt

So, yesterday, in Creative Writing class, were started doing writing prompts where our character and conflict were decided by rolling an 12-sided die. I got 'lonely old person' who 'wants to ask out the cute stranger they just met, but is nervous he/she well be rejected' but stove I have no confidence in successfully making that work out, got my situation changed to 'had been asked to be part of a small convoy sent to start a community on Mars' which I can do, and will become some form of 'Aliens on Mars, they fucked some stuff and people up, but Badass Old Man then fucked them up'. A friend got 'single parent of 5 young kids' with 'Is afraid of the dark, and a storm just wiped out all electricity' and some wild conversation led to me saying 'Shrekt' 'Shrekening' and suggesting that since he wanted to be an octo-mom but was a single parent with only 5 kids, he have be that he was an Orphanage/Foster Home overseer and the storm was the cover which Shrek used to attack said orphanage, and in the process only 5 kids survived whom his main character then adopted after the extremely traumatic survival. So yeah... And then, the other friend got '16 year old model' and 'Is trying to prove they are innocent of a serious crime' and eventually that turned to it being a mannequin version of Anakin Skywalker that I guess is somehow sentient almost like the ones from that first episode of Doctor Who and I suggested was accused of being too Fabulous, and then the next day when we're back in that clad she mentions she ACTUALLY WROTE THAT OUT, and while I haven't seen it (yet), I'm some mix of confused, worried, ecstatic and proud that she did.
