These Peach Crumble Pie Bars are a delightful combination of buttery crust, juicy peaches, and sweet crumble topping. They're perfect for picnics, potlucks, or any occasion where you want to impress with a delicious fruity dessert!
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed. 1 egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 4 cups fresh or frozen peaches, sliced. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 tablespoons cornstarch. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C. Set aside a 9x13-inch baking dish that has been greased. Put the flour, baking powder, salt, and 1 cup of sugar in a large bowl. Add the butter and mix it in until the mixture looks like big crumbs. Be sure to mix in the egg and vanilla extract. Press half of the mixture into the baking dish that has been set up to make the crust. Put the peaches, 1/2 cup of sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a different bowl. Combine well. Spread the peach mix out evenly on top of the baking dish's crust. On top of the peaches, crumble the rest of the flour mixture. It should be baked in a hot oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Let it cool all the way down before cutting it into bars. Have fun!
