I have been away for far too long. The reasons are many and it may be a while before I can start hitting up walls again. Seeing Briks awesome three eyed bear got me all jazzed up. I can't wait to get back out there.

I saw this the other day and have been clicking through all of the different sayings. I especially love the one about gas masks. I understand all of them, from the queen to mickey mouse, except for one.

The one about monkeys.

I love monkeys, they are awesome. I wish I could own one. I wish there were zombie ones for me to fight. I think they are one of the few things that can be simultaneously cute and evil.

Are there really that many monkeys in street art. I have seen a ton of chimpanzees. But that is an ape, not a monkey. Monkeys have tails.

Maybe they just aren't as prevelant here in Austin and no one is willing to put up pictures of overdone "humans are monkeys" themed art.

Since all of my art is animals, I think I will continue to do monkey's. I think next I might do a Mandril (world's largest monkey).

Please let me know if I am crazy or just out of the "monkey cliché" loop.
