This had been a weird night for Kanji. He’d just been hanging out with Naoto, then he met some weird kid and a dog that could both use Personas. As if that hadn’t been odd enough, he’d fought himself a few times, as well as copies of the others, and it was really beginning to wear on his last nerve. He wanted to find the son-of-a-bitch responsible and show him what for. Not just for turning the school into some fucked-up looking tower, but for hurting his friends.

That’s when the red mist set in, and he felt a familiar draining feeling, but far stronger than usual. From the events of the previous day, Kanji had taken to carrying his Teddie glasses with him, but it seemed Ken had nothing of the sort and Naoto hadn’t thought to bring them, so Kanji was the only one left standing as the glasses helped to fight the debilitating effect to some degree.

Then he heard them, footfalls coming from behind, Their pace was evey and light, as if they approached a friend, not a threat. Kanji’s grip on the crossbar of his chair tightened, he was going to show this asshole how wrong they were. With some exerted effort, he stood and stared down the red-haired man approaching- the intent to murder clear in his eyes. Already rage had begun boiling in Kanji, his blood pounding in his ears, drowning out Naoto and Ken’s pleas for him to run.

NOT IF I KILL HIM FIRST

 SHE pauses for a moment, gazing towards the redhead. It  took her a long moment to read him, really, making sure he  didn’t have ill intentions. ( Or wasn’t a Shadow. ) The thief  raised a finger to her lips, consciously thinking for the first  time in her life. She hadn’t been spotted yet, carefully  hidden among the dark shadows. 

 WITH a swift and graceful movement, the thief moved to  flip over the boxes she hid behind, sitting directly on top of  them as she placed her chin in her hands. 

                       “  YOU’RE not from here, are you?  ”
