Stop acting like short guys don’t exist
All of my life, I’ve been the stereotypical “short guy”. You know, the ones that the media don’t seem to recognize or acknowledge.
I hate those pictures you see on Facebook “short girl problems” because people pretend that short men don’t exist. BUT WE DO.
Every short guy depicted in fiction is always some smart ass or hot headed prick.
Every time I see those “every short girl needs a tall guy” I ask myself “what does every short guy need?” Usually when the girl is taller than the guy in a relationship people ask if the man is the woman’s little brother or younger relative.
Do you see any men shorter than 5″9′ play an action hero in a movie? No. Because Hollywood thinks that taller = superior.
For things like comics or video games, we rarely see male protagonists under 5″9′.
Bodybuilders under 6″0′ are mocked and discriminated based on something THEY CAN’T CONTROL.
If short girls can get love, why not short guys?
