It was an odd night on Pahkitew Island. The wind was chilling, yet the sky was starry..there was rustling by a tree not too far from the “Confused Bears” camp, which is where our story starts.

“Shawn—buddy, slow down..I can’t climb as fast as you can.” Topher whisper yelled at his partner. “Do you need a hand?” Shawn offered, stretching his arm towards the other.

Topher got fairly flustered at the offer before he slowly grabbed onto Shawn, who pulled him up in return. “Cmon. Put more strength into your climb! You’re not gonna escape from zombies if you climb like this..” Shawn worried.

“Of course Shawn, sorry honey.” Topher sputtered in a lovey manner. Shawn looked at him, “Honey?” he questioned. “AH—That was. That was a mistake Shawn.” Topher muttered.

Shawn chuckled it off, taking Topher to the highest, thickest branch, where he sat with Topher, caressing his hand.

“You see that, Topher?” Shawn whispered.

“What?” Topher mumbled back, glancing up into the nightsky.

“That. That constellation.”

“It’s called Cassiopeia.” Shawn pointed into the black, at a small arrangement of stars.

Topher held Shawn’s hand, leaning against him. Shawn nudged back affectionately. “You tired bud?” Shawn asked.

Topher leaned into Shawn, sitting up as he lifted the other’s chin up, pulling Shawn in for a kiss. Shawn sputtered, but soon leaned in as well.

as Topher pulled back from the embrace, he looked down at Shawn. “I. I’m so sorry!! That was..quite unprofessional of me.” Topher apologized.

“you’re fine.”

“really?”

“we could um..do that again later. alright?”

“…”

“yeah. later..”

Shawn hates dealing with trashy reality tv paparazzi. Topher is extremely well-equipped to get them to leave quickly while thinking they got something out of him.
