#damn!!!

I just watched Dracula: A Love Tale and I can’t stop thinking about Dracula as your Derek and Elisabeta as your Stiles. Like, imagine Derek losing Stiles in the most tragic way...

Derek, who has already lost so much, collapses with grief and becomes something twisted and darker. Maybe he then turns into a werewolf or just becomes feral, because his reason to live and his anchor is gone.

So centuries pass and he is still there enduring the pain of existence, in a world that keeps moving forward without Stiles... The only single thing that remains, other than his eternal love, is the belief that somehow Stiles will come back to him.

Maybe he searches at first, desperate and obsessed with this idea. He follows false leads, clings to things that remind him of Stiles and loses himself in the hope that this time he will find him. But at some point, he stops searching and starts waiting. Becomes something haunting... not living, not surviving, just a sadly immortal existence waiting patiently.

And then one day he sees him. Not exactly Stiles, he has a different name, different life, different style. But it’s him. The same spark in his eyes, the same restless energy, the same way he talked with his hands when he was excited... And Derek knows that this time it is his kitten in front of him.

But Stiles doesn’t remember, he just has a ghost of a memory that is not really his.

So Derek has to make Stiles fall in love with him all over again. Carefully and slowly, holding himself back from saying too much, from overwhelming him and scaring him away. But that doesn't deter him, Derek waited a thousand lifetimes, what is a little more when he has the chance to be with Stiles again?
