While the more famous Narai Juku is the 34th of the 69 post station towns aka Shokuba, which is the mid-point of the Nakasendo trail connecting Kyoto and Toyko, Tsumago Juku is the 42nd, located in Nagiso, Kiso District of Nagano Prefecture. It has been restored to its appearance as an Edo-era post town. I think it would be interesting to know where or how all the 69 post station towns look like.
