This fandom has a major problem and that's: fans don't listen to what Taylor says. She said the album was made LAS SUMMER, you see people theorizing it was actually made whilst she was making Midnights (????). She says she is cooking and making sourdough bread and people think she is Easter egging about smth because there is no possibility of her having hobbies and doing normal things(???). She says the album only has 12 songs, and people say she is a liar and she'll release smth else(???). She says the album is completely different from TTPD because "LIFE IS MORE UPBEAT" and people say the album is going to be dark because of the aesthetic??
What the fuck happened to this fandom? Don't you see how HARMFUL this is to Taylor??? The narrative it creates around her??
People want Taylor to be this sad hermit person who is pathetic and can't deal with her depression, I think they mansturbate with the idea of her suffering. As @cages-boxes-hunters-foxes once said fans can't imagine her out of her sadness. But I think it goes further than that, fans LOVE to see her as this depressed and oppressed artist.
