To recap: My emotionally abusive and incredibly frustrating/ boundary pushing father died.

I was grieving and really didn’t know how to feel because honestly see above.  But he was still my dad.  I talked to him on a regular basis

Uncles decided to not tell me my father passed away until two weeks later.

I straight up asked them about services and they lied to me saying they didn’t know. 

I check obituary for my dad and it makes no mention of any of his children, including me.  Which is how I also found out about said memorial service. 

I flipped a lid and cussed them out, saying I wanted nothing to do with them.  For obvious and completely right reasons. 

Obituary was then changed to included the children, but still not in the Family section. 

Uncle dropped some words to my sister about don’t expect to much, there is really nothing.

All of his children knew the man had nothing and wasn’t worth much. 

So apparently Uncles thought something completely different. (I will explain) 

The Will came.  All of his children are completely CUT out of everything.  We inherit NOTHING.  We receive nothing, not even a memento. 

This is my Father’s expressed wish. 

Uncle then proceeds to write two letters wanting gold stars for taking care of my father.  How there really wasn’t anything of value.

OH and by the way, you wouldn’t happen to know if there is any other money laying around?  Like we searched everything and thought your dad was sitting on a pile of money and actually he was poor. LIke wasn’t your dad rich?  I thought he was rich? I mean why else did we take care of him for you.  Like why else did my daughter take care of him for you.  BTW we gave away all of his stuff or sold it. 

No dumbass uncle he wasn’t worth anything. There is no secret pile of cash.

Then dumbass uncle posts publically on facebook about how the government should set up a program to help people pay for the death and burial of relatives.

What exactly was his $4,000 life insurance policy for?  You expecting to get rich off of him dieing?  Yeah keep dreaming. 

So I posted on facebook about how preposterous this entire thing is and how I am so done grieving a man that in the end loved no one but himself. 

Uncle then got pissed and posted he was going to sue me for slander. 

Yeah have fun paying for a lawyer and court fees trying to sue the daughter of the man you took $4,000 from and then you really will have nothing.
