Thinking about Endgame
You know, I’ve been thinking-hence the title. Everyone is so angry about Tony Stark giving up his life for the world. But, did it ever occur to anyone, that he wasn’t planning on making it out of that battle alive? I mean, would he had designed E.D.I.T.H if he did? Or, even that suit, that wasn’t meant for him to survive in. RDJ even told us that in one of the interviews(I believe it was Off Camera on Netflix.)
And then I see how everyone is posting how it isn’t fair that Tony never gets to see Morgan grow up and how Pepper will have to raise her alone. First, she’s not alone. She’s got every Avenger that made it to help her on the days that Morgan has fits and has bad moods, or even just needs a project done for school. Second, that’s life. Life can be so cruel in the death game. Do you think Clint, who gets to go home to his family, will ever take a day for granted where he doesn’t watch his kids get older, knowing Tony can’t?
I think that’s all I needed to say. Doesn’t mean I’m okay with what the Russo’s did for ‘shock value’, but it’s a lesson that everyone needs to be taught at some point. Life isn’t fair, and it will take the best people away from you. But, at least we still have RDJ in real life who is going to continue to make movies, even if those movies aren’t in the MCU.
