THE HIGH FROM THE COME DOWN (heh) OF SOMETHING GREAT LEAVES DEAN BREATHLESS. His heart thumps hard against his chest -- a feeling familiar when he’s on the receiving end of Hannes’ affections -- and he fights to urge to hide from it. He’s allowed this and if he so chooses to selfishly indulge himself in Hannes’ love, then Dean will do it until the day he’s no longer allowed to. “I love you,” he says firmly because he can and because he knows the other man won’t ever use the words against him. He cups the man’s jaw tugging him closer for a kiss so chaste compared to earlier. “Marry me.” The words leave him in a rush and it’s stupid to ask something so pivotal after sex but it’s out there. Surprisingly, Dean doesn’t find that he minds. “Oh fuck. Hannes. I’m serious. Marry me?”
