"No. There is no need for violence." Edward was crouched over the injured human, expression a mixture of amusement and impatience, as they reached for their sword. He raised his hand slowly, eyes locking with theirs, and snapped his fingers; his magic immediately increasing the weight of their sword by 10-fold. "Reach for your steel again, for any purpose other than sheathing it, and I will embed it in your gut." He warned, finally turning his gaze towards the injury. "The Gods must have been shining upon you. My attendants rarely allow themselves to be seen by interlopers, let alone call for me to help them.
"Just who are you, traveler?" He shifted in that moment to rest the man's head in his lap, "The person, or thing, that hurt you --- do they still roam outside?"
"Games? I'm not playing games. No strings attached, it's what we agreed to right?" Kamil answered like it was nothing, like it meant nothing to him. "Yeah, you'd want me to quit smoking, weed, quit drinking huh? Anything to fit in that perfect little world of yours with those perfect people." It irritated him. Because Kamil wasn't like that. It's just the smoking that's an issue: nobody likes the smell." Casting another cautious look around them, Keos grabbed hold of Kamil's jacket and pulled him closer. "Dinner is overrated. You can buy me takeout. I'll sit in your lap while we watch a shitty movie and enjoy the food.

It's a lot to handle, Kamil." He explained as they emerged into the backyard, their privacy guaranteed by the two suited men who quietly ushered people away.
