so what. you think fandoms are bad. i think spinach is bad. i think the people on The View are bad. but it doesn't matter. it's just an opinion on something trivial. but you take it out on these people in these fandoms becaause, why? it validates you?

does needless hatred make you feel better? when someone spits insults at someone with a different skin color, do they feel happier? when someone makes a cruel comment about a woman wearing a hijab, do they feel somehow powerful and important? when some kid yanks and little girls pig tail, do they feel like it was something they needed to do?

whats the point?

Just that (in my view) optimism is no guarantee. You may not become an adult or have a career or find someone who loves you. You may not have a lifetime. There are many ways to fail at life, full stop. Poverty and sickness and death aren’t rumors.

Boast not of tomorrow for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
