Some Personal Headcanons for our fave Big Top Employees:
Tim is more aware than he lets on that Steve/Cesare's antics are weird and off the chain. But he's such a go with the flow kind of opportunities guy that he just accepts it. And downplays things to Penny and Billie when they start to freak out.
Tim was Steve's first employee for the Big Top Truck, and 100% thinks Steve is just really dedicated to the bit of the whole "Being a Genuine Clown Thing". Which is why Steve never "takes off his make up". It's his look, guys! Steve's just into alternate fashion!
Tim does not realize that Steve actually lives/sleeps in the food truck, otherwise the guy would be sleeping on Tim's pull out couch. (Yes he has a pull out couch, fight me-)
Tim worked IT before the food truck, grilling and cooking in general just a side hobby up until that point. As well as LARPing. Steve gave him an opportunity to do both for a living- he's absolutely chuffed about it!
Penny definitely has had lots of customer service work experience so she often works the window.
Penny's kid loves clowns and totally helps her get ready every morning for work.
Penny definitely reads clown stories along with more regular fairy tales to her kid at bed time.
Billie was literally just a customer and after one very weird conversation with Steve later, she found herself hired on. The undercover clown taking a liking to her instantly.
Billie's off the clock wears is some type of punk/goth mix. Occasionally wearing white face makeup/paint and such.
Billie can juggle. Easily.
