(Disclaimer: I know I've done this one before, but I cannot for the life of me remember what I listed, so I may end up with the same 10 books, lol.)
Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag [ten] friends, including me, so I’ll see your list.
The Waves by Virginia Woolf
The Feast of Love by Charles Baxter
The Sound & the Fury by William Faulkner
The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Lullaby by Chuck Palahniuk
Skeleton Crew by Stephen King
House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski (this book FUCKED ME UP - like it's a weird enough book on its own, but I kept having weird almost psychic experiences when I was reading it & yeah, strange)
The Artist's Daughter by Kimiko Hahn (poetry! I loved this book so much bc of the elegant and careful way she handled really dark subjects - which, if you couldn't tell already, I'm drawn to)
Geek Love by Katherine Dunn
I could seriously go on about most of these bc they're some of my fave books. The last one popped in my head when I was thinking of what to add bc I didn't want to repeat authors. It's a weird one, but very good.
