Like initially I was planning on opening with the farmboy hero leaving home ‘cause he’s decided to try and Engage With The Plot. You know, follow that archetypal vibe with the Known World and the Call to Adventure and the Crossing the Threshold Into The Unknown and all that

But then I remembered that’s boring? Like i mean yeah it’s a classic and classics are classic for a reason but Also I’m Bored

And the story would be Much more fun if we skip that mess and go straight to the bit where the dude gets robbed on the road
