Thank you so much. I was honestly a little scared to do a solo concert in Japan, and I was worried about some things. The reason is because I was on a long hiatus while I was in the military, so I was thinking about a lot of things. Like, will I be able to stand on stage again after this? If I can stand on stage again, will I be able to have a concert that goes well? Will I be able to show everyone a good performance? I was really worried about those kinds of things. Also, would fans in Japan come to see my concert? I wonder if they’ll remember me. I was always thinking about stuff like that. So today, I was really nervous and scared before the concert, but when I actually came out on stage...you guys made me realize I was worried about nothing. Even now, I feel like I can’t believe this is happening.

Two weeks ago too, when I had my concert in Korea, I was worried about so many things. It was the first concert I had in a long time, so before it started I felt so nervous, exactly like I did when going to audition for the first time. When I was doing that concert in Korea, there were fans who came from Japan and other countries, and of course lots of Korean fans, and I got a lot of strength from those fans during that concert and I got my confidence back and felt like I got back to normal.

During this concert, I could meet lots of Inspirits, and I want to give you lots of energy, but actually, I feel like I ended up gaining a lot more power from you.

Actually, to be honest I haven’t had many chances to talk to Japanese fans, you know? So, suddenly, I got really curious about something...while I was in the military, what were you guys thinking about the most? (Inspirits: (laughing and being shy)) (puts hand on his chest) Me? (Inspirit: (T/N: not sure but) Thinking about what you were doing!) Ah, what I was doing? I was working hard and doing my best! I learned stuff like how to throw people in judo. (Inspirits: Oohhhhh~) Ah, you don’t have to act so surprised. To be honest, it didn’t go that well. xD While in the military, I also did some public performances. First in Kogen-do...ah, you guys don’t know about Kogen-do, do you? It’s a place where there’s only mountains and nothing else. When I first entered the military, for the first two months, I was training everyday.

Hello, I’m Infinite’s leader Sunggyu. In Japan, this concert...concert? (struggles with pronunciation) Concert’s second day, huh. Yesterday too...(glances at monitor... [T/N: Seemed like the monitor wasn’t working well on day 1, because he said a couple things and then ran off stage that time -- so that’s why he’s surprised/relieved!]) Who came? Oh, thank you so much~ At the first concert in Japan, I was a little nervous at first, but everyone had a good time so I was really happy. Please enjoy it till the end today, too. I was really surprised! You’re really good at singing, huh. But it seemed like there was some confusion at the start. xD But! Almost everyone sang along from the beginning, right? (Inspirits: Right~) I think it was wonderful.

To be honest, since I’m singing this song in Japan, I thought maybe I’d have to sing the girl part too, so I was ready for that. I was thinking I’d have to turn to this side and then that side while singing both parts, so really, thank you for relieving my concerns.

So, I ended my military service in January of this year, and as you know, all the Infinite members besides Myungsoo L are in the military now. Before this concert, I talked to Sungyeol who’s in the military - recently it’s okay for people to have their phones during military service - so I talked to Sungyeol through video chat. When I said I’m going to Japan, he was so jealous! He said it’s been a long time since he’s been to Japan, so he really wanted to come too. I’m hoping that I can come back to Japan with all the members someday and get a warm welcome from all of you.

Two weeks ago, Woohyun and Sungjong came to my concert in Korea. We drank together for the first time in a while after the first day of that concert. We all haven’t changed. We’re all healthy and doing well.

(An Inspirit asked about Dongwoo) Ah, Dongwoo? xDD Recently, Dongwoo’s in Kogen-do in the Korean military. He’s really, really working hard over there. (He’s really taking his time to think while talking about Dongwoo, trying not to laugh. xD) Dongwoo used to be really, really bright and energetic, but in the military, he’s lost some of that cheerfulness. xDD But he’s really working hard to defend our country, and I feel like he’s grown up a lot. (shrugs xDD) Actually, I haven’t really been able to see Dongwoo for a while. We send messages sometimes, but since he’s in Kogen-do, he can’t take time off so we can’t really see each other. So recently, we haven’t met up at all, but Dongwoo definitely knows more than anyone that I’m here in Japan doing this concert right now. I think he’s definitely jealous of me. I hope he cheers up. xD

The next song is a song I hoped I could sing in Japan with all of the Infinite members, but today I’ll sing it by myself. When everyone gets out of the military, I want to come to Japan with them and sing this song together. Please listen~
