Oooh, challenge accepted!

1.) Klaus’ biological father comes out of the woodwork on his 15th birthday. Informing Klaus that, as Ansel’s only heir, he’s got a pretty hefty trust. And, that he’s a werewolf. Will turn have to turn on full moons on the near future (werewolf puberty isn’t and exact science). And oh yeah, he’ll also have to lead the most powerful werewolf pack on the planet one day.

2.) His new life leads to a certain amount of attention. At first he enjoys it. What boy his age wouldn’t? Money, attention, a high end SUV with a big red bow on it for his birthday. He sours on it by the time he’s in college (getting a bit surly with a pap, earning himself a reputation the family publicists never manage to quash). His siblings - Kol in particular - enjoy it more.

3.) Kol submits the application. Manages to spin it to make it seem like a good idea. They’ll get the public to see a kinder, gentler, side of Klaus and isn’t it time for him to settle down? Werewolves are calmer with a mate, after all. Klaus reluctantly follows his pack alpha and father’s decree.

4.) Caroline smells something off the second she gets out of the limo. She’s never met a wolf before, can’t quite place it. She hadn’t been super invested in the whole thing - figured she’d have one last splashy hurrah before she needs to leave Caroline Forbes in the dust and start a new life. But, with a mystery to solve, she decides to actually try.

5.) Klaus had known vampires existed, all apart of the Supernatural crash course he’d gotten. He knows how to recognize them and that he’s supposed to hate them. He doesn’t hate the woman with the lapis lazuli ring though. Not even a little bit. 

6.) She gets the first rose and earns the ire of some of her fellow contestants. Caroline’s unbothered. If they piss her off too much she’ll just have to eat them.

Caroline took a deep breath, trying to control her temper. “This was supposed fun party. You know, like, without murder.”

“I thought it was enjoyable,” Klaus said, calmly turning off the tap where he’d been washing the blood off of his hands and reaching for the hand towel. “The screaming was very on-point considering the holiday.”

“Oh my god. Seriously?”

“I saved your life,” he pointed out, and she knew she should concede the point--they’d have lots of Halloween parties, after all, but she’d have to be alive to throw them--but still. It was the principle of the thing.

“Yeah, but you could have done it before the party or waited until after. This didn’t have to be a scheduling conflict.”

He snorted, stripping off his bloodstained shirt and throwing it in the hamper in the corner. “My apologies. I didn’t intend to inconvenience you.”

“Klaus...”

“I would never leave your safety to chance, Caroline. I know you feel the same about me. I love you.”

“Yeah, and I love you,” she said, trying not to sound too irritable. “Like you, though? Still up for debate.”

He chuckled, reaching to pull her into his arms, stroking her hair when she rested her cheek against his shoulder. “I think I’ve managed to grow on you a bit.”

She hummed, wrapping her arms around him. “If you want to stay on my good side, you can help me plan an even more kickass party for next year.”

What are you talking about?! These all sound excellent! I’m excited for pregnant witch Caroline (though I’m so sorry you have to rewatch TO for it) and altered Klaus-Marcel NOLA warfare with witch!Caroline. God your ideas are so awesome!
