北海道の冬は曇った日には、あっという間に夜がやってくる。まだ15:30なのに。
砂原線は朝夕の通学需要路線と言っても良いほど本数が少ない。メインの国道5号線からも外れたルート上のそれぞれの集落を走れば、コンビニやら個人商店がまだ残り、集落内で購買活動も完結できるのだろう。路線バスも走り、利便性はそちらの方がいいのかもしれない。無くなる準備は着々と進んでいるのか。
