Although sometimes described as hideous and bizarre, mermaids still possess a deadly beauty. They have the upper body of a beautiful young woman, and from the belly down are the scales and the tail of a fish. 

They often rise on the sea surface and sing. Their voices can bring sailors into trouble, but they can also predict bad weather to come.

As supernatural beings, angels can take on human form, with wings on their backs and halos. They have a duty to serve God, powerful and fearsome, wise and discerning in judgment. 

Even though angels are very holy, that does not mean they cannot be fallen.

Formed from spirits, fairies are small in stature and possess magic. They have the wings of butterflies, sometimes fly by magic or sit on the backs of birds.

Some fairies like to play harmless pranks on humans, others like to hurt humans for fun.

Necromancy, divination, healing and curses, they are the masters of magic. Witches are often seen in black robes, pointed hats and flying with brooms.

Although most are considered evil, there are many witches that do no harm. They bless or help people around them with the magic they learnt.
