1. after the cheater’s funeral, mary begins spending all of her time at baker street, refusing to go home and doting on rosie.mary is naturally blaming herself even though she did nothing wrong devastated but just pulls herself together after a few encouraging words from sherlock for the sake of rosie because apparently it’s that fucking easy

2. she gathers a bunch of photos and shows rosie throughout the years, telling her what a…wonderful father she had. she hears all the stories from her uncle and mum, her aunt molly too. even sholto pays a visit now and again

3. sherlock takes case after case after case to get his mind off of everything. he probably blames himself too. but mary makes sure he knows it was nothing to do with him. they hug :3

4. molly brings over lots of sweet things and helps out as best she can with rosie and casework, and ensures the fridge is stocked with fresh body parts. anything to keep sherlock busy. they make time, however, to grieve properly and visit his grave with flowers, just the two of them (mary and rosie should go alone, after all)

5. (and this is just pure fantasy) sherlock and the better watson begin solving crimes and raising rosie, with the little one urging her mum and uncle to get together because they both love and care for each other. they laugh her off at first but, during a rather passionate snog after they almost died on a case, they realise she has a point

-so alec loves when it starts getting cold outside because now he can wear even more layers of the darkest clothes he owns and it actually makes sense

-magnus also loves it because there’s so much variety in fashion when you can start to layer. coats? yes. scarves? hell yes. over the knee boots? YES.

-when the leaves start to fall magnus loves taking alec on dates to go walk around in parks because alec turns into such a child around the leaves, kicking them whenever he walks passed 

-alec has a special recipe for hot chocolate that he’ll make and magnus would kill for the hot chocolate it’s so good and it’s something he looks forward to every year

-they snuggle up on the coach under a fuzzy blanket and watch movies with the hot cocoa and they’re both just utterly at peace

-both of their favorite holidays is halloween, okay, and they go freaking all out for it

-magnus likes focusing on the costume and party part of it, planning incredible halloween parties that’ll blow his guests away

-alec loves to decorate the apartment. that’s the one thing magnus puts alec in charge of for the parties and alec does such a magnificent job with it

-alec also loooves watching spooky movies even if the ones with demons make him chuckle 

-they both love baking and they’ll make fall themed treats and spooky treats and everything in between and it’ll take them all take to make them because they’re too busy goofing around and having fun while doing it

-they’re both so disappointed when it gets a bit too cold outside and the layers are more for warmth and not for fashion anymore and they can’t go outside without the noses being at risk for frostbite
