BRITISH BLOKES, no. 4 My first repeated album since I started this current project! I would’ve thought it would be Remain In Light or Talking Book or Beggar’s Banquet or whatever but here it is, because it’s one of the duplicates I got for Christmas and when I listened to it before, my receiver turned out later to have been malfunctioning with no left channel. And I just *love* the *sound* of “There’s No Other Way” so it’s a grand choice for my first repeat in two years so I could hear both channels of that bright and fulsome guitar lick. That’s right. I consider that introduction and repeating guitar part FULSOME. There’s some other albums I noticed the left channel missing and should probably re-spin. Anyway. I know this isn’t considered one of the tiptop greatest Blur albums but those are all really expensive and this one is totally enjoyable. I heard a Stone Roses song on the radio today and if they’re considered an amazing British Bloke Band, well, I enjoyed these tracks just as much as that copy of their 1989 album I spun awhile back. Hm, maybe that deserves a second spin while I’m in this subsection... anyway. Ladies and Gentlemen....
