i feel like bodhi is way more straightforward in his approach than his cousin, if he likes you you’re gonna KNOW
Unlike his cousin he has no shadows to hide in lolol. Yes I think he’d be much more upfront with his own feelings or his affections for someone.
But, do you think he’d be shy though? I ask because he’s used to being in Xadens shadow and even Garrick’s too, right? Could you imagine being friends with those two. I mean, amazing but also I’d imagine a little third wheel feeling and, they’re both absolutely gorgeous and it’s not really a secret. Even though we know how cute Bodhi is I would still question my own attractiveness and self confidence if I was friends with either of them.
I’d like to think he’s shy at first because he doesn’t feel worthy enough for you. I could totally see a “me? Not my cousin, but you want to talk to me?” But let me tell you, once he gets out of his head and out of his own way and starts to peruse you, it’s on. He’d be so straightforward and so open about his affections it would probably make Xaden jealous in the end lolol.
Like, Xaden is physically external but emotionally internal with his love for Violet. I don’t see him speak to Garrick or Bodhi openly about his love for her (I mean yes they’ve all seen him kiss her and stuff). But Bodhi out here actually talking about his relationship openly and not really caring. What does he have to hide, right? He’s a breath of fresh air about it and probably gives Xaden and Garrick a bit of permission to do that themselves in their own relationships.
All of this to say, if you like Bodhi standing firm for his partner or Bodhi getting some love and attention, you’ll really enjoy the Bystanders Cookbook when it’s our next week.
