It had been quite an eventful day, and they were only just getting started.

When Koopie Koo took up Shelly’s offer on visiting her in Mushroom City, she made sure to have the entire day planned out for the two of them. After a late (but tasty!) breakfast, they headed out to the city’s biggest mall for a little shopping spree... Or, at least, that was the plan. The koopa duo ended up unexpectedly spending the majority of their time at the arcade, but they did manage to buy some stuff in between rounds of Koop Koop Revolution.

Once their shopping trip was done, they headed back to the salon, where Shelly surprised Koopie with an after-hours makeover. An hour of cutting, painting, and primping later, Koopie was sporting a very chic look. Gone was the ponytail she once had; in its place was an inverted bob with a very high and clippered undercut, her blonde hair now tipped with violet. Her shell was painted a metallic purple to match, and she had some light makeup and her nails done to complete the look. Needless to say, Koopie was quite ecstatic when Shelly revealed the final results. Oh, how she wished she could be a fighter fly on the wall when Koopie returned home and Koops saw her for the first time...

For now, though, the pair were back out on the Mushroom City streets, decked out in the outfits they bought that day and heading towards the downtown district. It was time for a night out on the town, seeing the best bars and nightclubs that Mushroom City had to offer.

Looking around excitedly at all the lights and neon signs that kept the city aglow underneath the night sky, Shelly turned to her freshly restyled friend with a huge smile.

         This wasn't happening, this couldn't be! He knew it was here, there was no doubt about that! It was the last place he'd put it. And by now, Ludwig had thoroughly checked his entire room. All the nooks, every single cranny. But still, what he had been looking for seemed to of magically vanished into thin air. This was extremely out of the norm for the koopa. You see, he knew where all his belongings were. And hardly anything was every rearranged nor moved. So, this made finding things for him quite a breeze! So, it wasn't surprising that foul play began to peak Ludwig's suspicion.

     Upon exiting his room, Ludwig looked left to right , checking down each ends of the corridors. A heavy sigh escaped his mouth as deep thoughts began to flood his mind. Without putting much thought into it, the eldest made his way rather aimlessly down the right end of the hallway, hoping to locate his lost property. Luckily, proceeding in this direction made him catch a glimpse of one of his brothers. The colorful vibrant mohawk, short stubbiness. It was none other than Lemmy himself. 

     Giving a quick wave, Ludwig attempted to flag his younger brother down. In a hushed voice, but strong aim, he called out for his brother, making sure only to get his attention and no one else's. His pace even had picked up speed as he made his way closer to the smaller one, but still, Ludwig made sure not to make too much noise with his footsteps.
