Cw: blood, nudity. A spread of drawings I did while listening to season 3. Featuring Grey Sister claw ideas and my fave bloody beast Lavinia ❤️. The middle bottom is Sheila Walker as a Sophie still from Howl's Moving Castle.
Man, Sheila Walker is a capital B Baddie™️. Goals. Minus, maybe, having 7 children. Not goals.
Servants of the Inner Dark or other dark forces: I have an army. The Green: We have the Walker girls.
Sheila Walker: I've met a lot of pricks in my time, but you, Colonel, are a fucking cactus.

ok so its rosie-time folks. we’ve only had her for a few minutes this season but i’m already endlessly fascinated by her and have so many questions. like whats her relationship with the rest of her siblings (we’ve only gotten a glimpse of her with marcie and it was utterly charming to hear marce getting the younger-sibling-treatment for once, i mean marcie-pan - just!! utterly endearing!!) her introduction makes it very clear that sheila’s eldest is no joke indeed, we know she’s on the run for about 25 years and not just because she messed up any old bloke; appearantly she caused enough trouble for B&L that they consider her a threat and rosie being able to dodge any attempts of capture or repercussions (as far as we know) only speaks to her badassery, the level of capability and experience she must have.
she even tells marcie that she’s very intent on making the next 25 years the same and i already talked about how jarring the difference between the sisters demeanor felt in that moment. marcie is supposed to be the steady one, she’s bedrock and solid earth but two years after the ritual we find her in pain, haunted by nightmares and genuinly unsettled by what happened and her big sister is the one to reassure her, perhaps not in the soft or patient manner we wish for her to demonstrate with her little sister, but in a way which says “this is how things are and this is what must be done” which is the walker women’s modus operandi of course. being tied to the same part of the narrative which allowed us to explore sheila’s story further, rosie very much evokes her mothers legacy, seemingly radiating the same power and guidance. about a year after sheila showed the old goat whats what, she must’ve gotten pregnant with rose (being as young as 15/16 years old), so not only did rosie get to spend the most time with her mama, i also imagine that children who are very close in age to their parents have a very interesting bond with them. like sheila always having to navigate the tightrope between protecting and raising her but also sharing too much responsibility, leaning on rosie because yes she’s cunning for her age and perhaps a bit rutheless which should frighten sheila but also reassures her that her daughter can take care of herself in this hellhole of a town. rosie showing signs of the gift must’ve been marvellous and horrible at the same time for sheila - looking at her fist-born knowing she’ll experience wonder only few will be able to ever experience all while feeling responsible for having painted a target on her little girls back.. i.am.unwell
