Saturday is cupcake making.

Or what Kayn said after pestering you to make his favorite cupcakes and him wanting to help. Forcing you to get out of making activities for the children in the daycare you are working at.

You never had a problem about it, you actually think it's cute that the little edge boy has a favorite for sweets.

He usually sprinkles both red and blue but he said he'd take the blue instead, the red for next time.

A month had passed since Kayn came into your life. The twins still contact you two days a week, mostly Sheida talking, Rhaast rarely looms over the camera and ask where Kayn is. Sheida would say that Rhaast is at his office or in his room doing paperwork.

"You add some of your favorite toppings," you said, wiping your hands on your apron and reached for the box sitting on the pantry, "pick what you like and we can pop the tray in the oven."

Kayn only nodded, his eyes sparkled of bright amber after seeing the box full of sprinkles. Immediately, he grabbed the box and chose carefully what toppings he should pick.

"Blue or red?" he muttered to himself. You on the other hand watched him in the distance as you sorted the batter boxes by their flavor.

"Blue!" Kayn poked the blue packet and moved the red on one side.

"Should I place this on the shelf then?"

Kayn nodded without giving you a glimpse, his eyes fixated over the small scythe and blue stars sprinkles. You took the red packet and placed it on the container and slid it on the shelf. Hearing a struggling noise, you saw Kayn trying to open the plastic with his hands.

"Here," you rushed to him with safety scissors in hand, "let me help you."

He gave you the packet and watched you opening the plastic with ease. You took a container and poured them in and threw the empty plastic to the bin. Kayn said 'thank you' and turned back to what he is doing (which was his favorite whenever you two bake cupcakes): sprinkling his favorite sprinkles on the cupcake with blue frosting.

It ends the two of you enjoying eating the cupcales while watching a movie.

"I'm bored," said Kayn as he has himself slouched on the table smaller his size, his legs coming out of the other side of the table.

"Then what do you suggest to do?" you asked, picking up the toys Zoe scattered earlier.

"I don't know!" he flailed his hands and pouted afterwards, "How can you not be bored when you are surrounded by kids."

"Are you not a kid?"

"I'm not!" he said, flustered from what you said.

"Hello friend and hello to you Kayn." said Karma as she entered the room from the office.

You waved at her and continued at what you are doing while Kayn greeted Karma back, straightening his posture on the small chair he is sitting on.

Karma is your boss and somehow she is nice than the previous boss you had.

She allows Kayn to stay in the daycare (with a chaperon) and even lets him help around and play with the kids.

You remembered, a few days ago when Kayn stayed in the daycare, he was playing with a little yordle named Kennen. Kennen visits the daycare twice a week, you assumed that him and Akali one of the daycare kids are aquainted or maybe step-siblings since you saw Shen dropping and picking them up in the daycare.

"Thank you very much for taking care of them," He said to you.

Shen once asked you to have dinner with him—ahem—he means he is asking you if Kayn can be a playmate to Akali and Kennen. You told him that you will ask for Kayn's permission—Kayn said no, IMMEDIATELY said no before you could finish your sentence.

"That guy wants to get in your pants, don't believe him. I also don't like his kids, they suck."

You gasp at him.
