Abigail grunted as she hauled her belongings off her truck back into the base. It had been months since she'd started her contract assignment and finally she was back! When she got inside she blinked. No one was there to greet her or welcome her back. She didn't show it but her heart sank into a pit in her stomach, quietly carrying her things to her personal quarters where she unpacked and arranged everything back in order. She thought someone would at least greet her but they all seemed busy with their own things apparently.
