4 8 and 43 for Ro?
04. What are their favorite traits about their lover? (one psychological and one physical)
Ro’s favorite traits about Marshall... Hm. Psychologically, his sense of humor. He always manages to make her laugh, even when she’s pissed at him (for better or worse); he always worms his way out of trouble with her. Physically, his cheekbones/bone structure in general.
08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it?
I would say Ro’s biggest flaw is not being able to practice what she preaches. This was pretty obvious when she first met Lena; she can talk all she wants about feminism and girls supporting girls, but she immediately viewed Lena as a threat and treated her like shit. She’ll tell her younger sisters their outfits are too revealing, then wear a sheer top with nothing but a bra underneath. She can also protest and demonstrate about saving the environment and whatnot, but she’ll still take thirty-minute showers even though she lives in the middle of the desert. She’s mostly oblivious, if not barely and reluctantly conscious of it. The gang enjoys poking fun at her hypocrisy, though.
43. Does your character have a switch that changes aspects of their personality whether they are around friends, family, etc. Is there someone who gets to see their true self?
Absolutely! Ro’s family is a somewhat traditional Latino one, with traditional values at that. Family, respect, and Catholicism are held in high esteem. At home, Ro is a bit more subdued, well-mannered, and mostly speaks Spanish. Meanwhile, with her friends, she can be loud, rebellious, and (obviously) sticks to English. In the presence of her family, she’ll play the part of a good daughter so she’ll have a long enough leash to be bad on her own.
