From the deep basses of Trikk's House to the heavy pacing of Umbra's Techno, from the melodic and ambient noises of LO to the groovyness of Miguel Torga's Dub sound, the futuristic stabs of Mould to Cloche's dirty sounding House and never forgetting the smooth dancefloor killers of Voxels - between the originals the remixes, Con+ainer has been drifting through so many genres and approaches to music that it became too hard to describe what we do. How many times have we told you to expect the unexpected? Yes, plenty of times. And today we are not making any exception because we are proud to bring you a fresh and young new talent from Hartlepool, a coastal town in the North East of England. JGYB is the name and the sound is unique and extremely mature for his age. A balance between groovy broken beats, chopped up vocals and creative sampling - the result is an emotional and efficient collection of tracks ready to get the entire dance floor ears attention. Trust us, it's been tested. Hard to categorize but extremely easy to fall in love with, JGYB's music will definitely get the attention of people and DJ's trying to find original new sounds to fit into their playlists. Also we are proud to announce our first collaboration with the portuguese musician and DJ Shcuro. This talent from Lisboa got people's attention with the music he released on labels such as Basal (Spain) and Circus Maximus (Portugal), releases that got him featured in webzines such as XLR8R. Influenced by Techno and the broken rhythms of british bass music, Shcuro's remix for JGYB is a fast throbbing dark interpretation of JGYB's aw-inspiring track "Sun Soaked". SHCURO - PLUNGE INTO DARKNESS
We continue the journey our last release set us onto, this time jumping head straight into the void and plunging into darkness. Shcuro takes over as pilot and drives us into his realm, where industrial elements fuse with screaming synthesizers, merging into an impressive Techno and Dubstep hybrid: fast paced, with plenty of heavy banging beats and distortion, these two tracks are perfect for the dance floor's darkest hour. As a professional with atypical dance music and already as an established producer from Lisbon, João (his real first name) caught our attention with synthesizer-fest "Ignis Fatuus" EP released on Circus Maximus, but nothing could prepare us for the release he put together for Con+ainer. "Aegri Somnia" and "Plunge Into Darkness" are proof and testament that Shcuro is both funky and heavy, light and dark, capable of composing the warmest of melodies and the most evil sounding roaring acid synth line. Warning: before you dwell into Shcuro's realm, be aware that this one is not suited for the weakest heart. Enter at your own risk.
