How many times have we told you to expect the unexpected? Yes, plenty of times. And today we are not making any exception because we are proud to bring you a fresh and young new talent from Hartlepool, a coastal town in the North East of England. JGYB is the name and the sound is unique and extremely mature for his age. A balance between groovy broken beats, chopped up vocals and creative sampling - the result is an emotional and efficient collection of tracks ready to get the entire dance floor ears attention. Trust us, it's been tested. Hard to categorize but extremely easy to fall in love with, JGYB's music will definitely get the attention of people and DJ's trying to find original new sounds to fit into their playlists. Also we are proud to announce our first collaboration with the portuguese musician and DJ Shcuro. This talent from Lisboa got people's attention with the music he released on labels such as Basal (Spain) and Circus Maximus (Portugal), releases that got him featured in webzines such as XLR8R. Influenced by Techno and the broken rhythms of british bass music, Shcuro's remix for JGYB is a fast throbbing dark interpretation of JGYB's aw-inspiring track "Sun Soaked".
