We also talked about the Flash and how a lot of us were annoyed that Barry never seems to learn from his mistakes (he heard that a lot) and how they continuously bash Oliver in the Flash,(he seemed a bit surprised at that) while Oliver is a much better hero than Barry will ever be. He said it could be interesting if Oliver took a stand (for the crossover?) and said ‘Ok, Barry is dangerous, we have to stop him, for his own good’ and see how Felicity and Diggle react to that. He repeated later that it would be nice if OTA forced Barry to face his responsibilities.

He also said that while he understood why people are pissed at Baby Sara becoming baby John (he’s mad about it too) he understands that Diggle can’t exactly be mad or miss  something he never knew he had. He’s more worried about Barry acting so recklessly.

He would love to see Thea as a villain next season (if only for a part of it) because of all the baggage she has, with Malcolm as her father and the effect of the Lazarus pit that were never fully explored.

He asked us how we felt about Laurel/Black Siren returning and the overall reaction in the room was clear enough. Lots of crickets :)

His favorite OTA moments are the one where they all have a drink together (and they toast to OTA) and the elevator shaft scene in 520, which he actually suggested himself to the writers.

He loved playing the Green Arrow in the crossover because he got to beat up Oliver. He was a bit ‘meh’ about the Alien storyline though.

He was very impressed the very first time he saw Stephen shirtless, said Stephen has muscles in his earlobes.

Someone asked what his intro would be if Diggle had been stuck on the island with Oliver and he said ‘My name is John Diggle. I’ve spent the last five year on this island with Oliver Queen, and I can’t believe I haven’t killed him yet.’

When asked about Marry, Kiss and KIll, he said ‘Marry Lyla again, kiss Oliver and kill Reverse Flash’

Michael Rowe asked what OTA was and David adopted a faux threatening, growling voice. “How dare you?”

Michael then went on saying he should get credit for OTA since without his shot laptop Felicity might not have have joined the team, and Oliver might have not revealed himself to Diggle if he hadn’t been shot by the curare.

Michael would love to be back on the show if only to get a good conversation with Diggle about who *exactly* killed Andy and how ironic the situation turned out to be.

He thinks Diggle will definitely be there to help and advice Oliver about William, assuming William is part of the storyline next season

He imagine Diggle’s father is a 5-stars General in the army who is somehow involved with Argus.

He likes to think that Diggle’s Earth 2 counterpart is Green Lantern. He imagines that Diggle might die on Earth 1 and that his Earth 2 version would join the team as Green Lantern. He would also probably die saving Oliver and Felicity. (All this talk about Diggle dying was a bit disturbing, lol).

He also really would like to know the story behind his son becoming the Green Arrow in the Legends of Tomorrow version.
